This property was purchased by Henry Shagway, Ottawa Indian in 1898. He built the barn and cabin still standing on the property. My grandparents, Dr. Donald E. Miller & Katherine Miller, bought the property in 1967 and retired here. We vacationed here every summer. It now belongs to my son and me. I made a business of the barn - The Shagway Arts Barn. Woods have taken over the property! The cabin and barn are surrounded by trees now!
