The property was purchased this year by the City of Novi in order to put in a bypass road. As of today, The property has been clear-cut and the house stands alone. The house has been for sale but it must be removed from the property. If no one rescues this historic home, it will probably be demolished.
The neighbor house in this photograph has already been razed.
