When I was little, Taylors lived here. Her name was Viola, and I can't remember his name. They raised chickens and we used to get eggs from them. I think she was a music teacher. When New Era once had a piano smashing contest, Viola Taylor objected to ruining pianos. In the 1970s, it was purchased by Lefty and Polly Balenci. Polly was my Girl Scout leader for many years.
