Photo 32-ROG-26

Comments

I was a sophomore in highschool. Me and my brothers milked in this 80 station barn which part is burnt down. This picture brings me lots of love and sense of home

This is the farm of my Great Grandfather, Fred Klug. On the barn you can see "F. Klug" although the "g" seems to be distorted. Upon retiring Fred sold the farm (?) and moved to a home just a short distance down the road. He lived there, and to be over 100 years old, until his passing in 2004. He told me stories that during the Great Depression he provided hungry neighbors with farm fresh food. He was an undeniably great man. RIP.
