This is the Shady Lawn Farm owned by Ron and Glenda Lloyd. I am proud and so grateful I grew up there. I learned about life, a work ethic, and how to think and be self sufficient and independent.
I can see 2 or 3 loads of hay waiting to be stacked in the barn. Our Case 730 tractor sitting in the drive and what looks like Fred Van Heitsmas truck in the yard. Fred helped stack a lot of hay in that old barn. The barn collapsed and has been replaced by a modern metal barn, the tractor replaced by larger equipment and round bails, have not heard from or seen Fred in 30 years.
