Parents took over the farm in 1990 and lived in retirement there 6 months a year until sold in 2007. Farm was in the family from 1953 until 2097. Only 1 of the 12 elm trees survived the dutch elm disease in 1966-1970. Known locally as the Ole Roare farm settled in 1882 I believe. Never a great 76 acre general purpose farm, Much of the income came from selling off the mineral rights back in the 1930's. Still great memories of Evart and the farm,
