10710 south Hemlock rd. My parents bought this house in 1954 for 4,000$ from Acel Locke, owner of Brant Hardware. They added on three rooms on the north end around 1965 and enlarged the living room. The house was moved to it’s location from two lots down when Ron and Mary Locke built a new home in that spot. As an adult I returned to the home and lived there for seven years before my nephew rented it and later my niece bought it. It was in foreclosure after the recession of 2008’s and eventually sold. Now it looks run down with a fence trying to keep in excess stuff.
