You can just make out the John Deere sign in the bottom right. That was the Brant Hardware store, an authorized John Deere dealership owned by the Locke family, who lived about a thousand feet north of Brant on Hemlock Rd. I attended an estate auction yesterday at that house and there was quite a bit of John Deere equipment and memorabilia.
