My father grew up in this home, living there until he married in 1959. I believe his parents, Edward and Vera Eisch, bought the home in the early 40s. My grandmother sold the home sometime in the 80's. It was a sad goodbye; we spent many a Christmas there, played outdoors as children, skated on a small pond that apparently has since been filed, "hiked" back through the swamp area, and took small inflatable boats into the pond behind the house. The large tree that is visible above the house, planted on the south side, was planted when I was a little girl as a sapling.

Actually the folks married in 1960. My dad graduated from SS Peter and Paul in 1959, I believe.
