This was the Rodgers family farm back in the days! A lot of great memories in that place!!

I lived in this house my whole childhood

Gerald and Marion Rodgers bought this farm in 1959 from his Uncle Joe McClelland. Joe raised 17 kids here. Gerald and Marion raised six kids here and milked Holstein cows for years. They built all the pole barns and moved the garage. Dad did all the house renovations and I remember putting in running water and a indoor bathroom. No more out house! We learned what hard work was, and the value of family in this house. Thanks mom and dad for a good life on the farm! This picture was taken after I went away to college and dad was finally selling the cows, but he got right back into them a few years later. Loved that life on the farm!
