This was my grandparents house. My father, his sister and brother grew up here. I remember my grandfather taking me and my older brother to the patch of trees in the back one winter he made a small fire and we watched for deer, don't remember seeing any. I loved visiting my grandparents farm. My aunt had the biggest bedroom upstairs facing the East, loved that room.

I remember playing in the corn silo with my older brother when it was empty and one day when we were playing in the barn a big fat bumble bee chased me, I almost made it to the house but it caught up with me an stung me on my back, boy did that hurt.

I know the house has changed some, didn't recognize it at first when we drove by about 10 or more years ago. The house was white when my grandparents lived there but now it has brown siding.

I have a lot of wonderful memories at my grandparents old farm.
