I currently live in this house and know pretty much the entire history of it. This house was built in 1929. This area was wooded swampland then and they actually brought a mill to this spot and cut and built the house out of the trees on the property. The garage was built sometime around 1947. You can see to the left of the garage a part of a cement pad. That is actually a regulation sized shuffleboard surface. It's still there, but in bad shape. The people who built it were avid shuffleboard players. They also farmed all this land in the area. They grew mostly mint and potatoes. I know this history due to my girlfriends Great Uncle's father built it and over the years he has told me pretty much everything about it.
