This is now our little "farm" (since 1999). All of the barns are now gone, except for the corn crib (near the center of the property), the silo, and the milk house. When we bought it the place hadn't been lived in property for years and was FULL of junk. We naively thought we could just clean it up, repair the walls, re-roof it, etc. Two years later we finally moved in--after doing all the above AND THEN SOME! Gutting everything to the outside walls (and finding dead small animal carcasses), lifting the house to put a new foundation under it, and clearing the yard of debris and endless rocks were probably the worst of it (and a small brush fire that required only a few fireman)!

Now it's our dream home! All but one of our six children are grown, but we have plenty of space for grandkids. We've lived here for nearly 15 years and wouldn't think of leaving:)
