Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church
In 1853 Father Lawrence Kilroy founded what would be Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. The present church replaced the iconic Neo-Gothic church after it was destroyed by fire in 1966. The community center in the rear of the church was enlarged. The rectory is out of frame, across Brandon Road, to the north of the church. The church is on the southeast intersection of Kinney Road (M-19) and Brandon Road in Emmett, MI.
