Pretty sure this is 17788 M-86. I lived in this house from the time I was less than 1 years old till I was almost 12. I played in that old barn almost everyday. The circle driveway was our racetrack. My mom had a garden to the left of the house. There was a cluster of trees just behind the house that served as our makeshift playhouse. The trail in the back led to ponds and the landlords dumpsite. For us that was a treasure spot. We'd go back and rumage through what he thought was trash. I think my mom still has fiesta ware from that. So many memories in this house!
The land around it has been sectioned off into plots. The fields that we're once our playground are now other people's neatly groomed lawns. The barn was torn down, sadly, as it's existence is why I'm a member of the Michigan Barn Preservation Network today. The circle drive is no more. My mom's gardnen spot is now littered with saplings but you can still make out the original square if you know where it was.
