This was the home that my three sisters and I grew up in. The farm was sold to the the Laracha Farms from Reese 2.5 years ago and the house with two acres was sold to a cousin at the same time. Dad died over 15 years ago and Mom stayed there by herself until she was no longer able to take care of herself and was moved to an assisted living center. She taught school at Mayville for many years. The big tree in the front yard is now gone as is most of the woods on the place. The pick up camper in the side yard was torn apart by my sisters and me when we were cleaning up the place the chicken coup and the corn crib are long gone

We visited quite often. what we knew growing up is no longer there. I have some fond memories of of aunt Leah and uncle Jerry. Miss all of you.

I was there the day your folks moved in. That was before the addition was made to the house. Probably in the early 1950's Your parents were good people.
