This house was built by my parents, John and Edith Thompson in 1947, and we lived there until 1960. When we lived there, the garden and chicken yard were on the left of the house. The driveway went both behind the shed, and through it, and back out to the road on the far side of the garden. The last time I was up there, the little building on the right was gone, and they were working the field right up to the edge of the drive, and the trees along the west side of the house were grown up.
