Worden, Mi. Intersection of 5 mile and Pontiac trail. The white building is gone. The old school house in the back is Brownie's sign company. The building to the right is also gone. I remember being told that is was a gas station back in the day.

Worden was wiped out twice by tornadoes, the second one during WWI. The building with the corner entrance was built after the last tornado. It served as a store for years but for all of the time I knew it (since the 60s) it was Browne's Sign Shop. I'm not certain, but I believe it was demolished due to deterioration or a right-of-way issue.

The little building that is obscured by growth was a gas station.
