I learned to fly here. I soloed here in a Cessna 152 on 7-7-79 and got my Private Pilot License the following February. This photo was probably taken the last summer the airport was operating as it was sold to the landfill owner nearby to allow the landfill to expand. In 2020 the only thing remaining is the maintenance hanger.
