There was a write-up on this house in the Record-Eagle, in the 1980s.
If I recall correctly, it was built by a man named Smith, around 1900.
Between the words ' GOD'S ' and ' LOVE ', there is a clockface showing five minutes before midnight.
The symbolism is man's tendency to wait until the last moment to surrender to God.
