The house is basically the only remaining structure still there. All the old barns and storage sheds are gone or replaced. The old road is now part of the driveway with the main road down below one of the old the grazing pastures toward the lake.

We bought the property in 1971. It was previously owned by Marier and Lindo's, thus Lindo trail. The township road ran right in front of the house and a barn had been to the south of the road. The township moved the road south in 1973. The hog barn and old garage are gone.

The house had a wood cookstoves and wood burning furnace. We replaced the furnace in 1992. The cookstoves is still in the kitchen and is responsible for soups and stews during the winter

We raised seven wonderful children in that home, and four children built there homes on the property. Many sledding parties were held on the hill that ran east, and the maple woods to the south has provided gallons of syrup for all.
