This is my grandpa AL Hjerpe's farm. I grew up here and have lived and farmed here my entire life. I own it now.

Hi Travis! That's amazing to hear that Vintage Aerial captured your grandpa's farm. We'd love to learn more about your memories growing up there. Do you recall any significant changes since 1986? We're also curious about the type of farming you've done on the property. How long has the property been in your family?

My grandpa AL and his brother Stanley started leasing this farm in 1952. I'm 1955 AL married my grandma Shirley, and they bought the place in 1959. They had 3 kids, Steve (my dad) Linda, and Nancy. This was a dairy farm from 1959 until Jan 11 2023 following my dad's death 6 months earlier. I crop farm and feed cattle now.
