this is a picture of my father, Oscar Thompson farm on County Rd. no.6 We moved here in 1944. My brother lived there until he died. The house had a fire in the 90s and was eventually torn down and buried on the site. I believe all that remains in the windmill, the garage and a large granary. There is a double-wide trailer on the property. I have many fond memories. A brick, one-room school house is at the corner of No. 1 and 6. I attended school there from 2nd grade through 8th grade. Mrs. Mark Mark was the teacher there for most of those years.
