This is the Harry Baker farm at RR Kasota. Lake Washington is just down the road and once was the edge of the farm land. It has now been sub-divided. I think it is now called Baker's Point. Spent many Summer's visiting on the farm. My mother was a Baker.

Yes that was the Baker farm that I spent the summers with my family. The work ethic I learned there shaped my life. I remember walking to the lake to bathe using ivory soap because it would float. I think it was called Bakers Bay, we would walk to the little store around the bend called Squirrels Nest Point.

This was my maternal grandparents homestead

This was my maternal grandparents farm. The barn noted here was destroyed in a storm but I don’t recall the year.
