Former Boeckman farm sold to Leslie Thill in 1963. I lived here from 1963 to approximately 1978. Another Thill family was rumored to have lived here much earlier in the 1900s, a lot of rubbish artifacts found near the pole seen on the right center of this image.
What type of farming was done here? What kind of artifacts did you find there?
Cash crops and hay. beef cattle. The most interesting finds that come to mine were the small bottles that were once sealed with a cork. A lot of broken kitchen ware, and other small items that we'd just throw on the stone boat. Most seemed to have pushed up by the frost.
