Looking northwest at a DX gas station, 4225 Old U. S. Highway 40, Kingdom City, Missouri. With the construction of Interstate Highway 70, the alignment of U. S. 40 was moved. The sign say Hatton is 6-miles to the north, along Missouri Supplemental Route M. The sign structure survives, looking at a September, 2023, Google Street View.
