This was my family house. 3 generations grew up here. We added an enclosed porch to the front door, a white picket fence to the front yard. Although the home is no longer in pir possession, this photo serves great memories to anyone who has come to our home since it was originally taken. Anyone who walks through the doors recalls seeing this 24×36 photo on the wall. It is the centerpiece of conversation.

Was the property ever a farm? What was the outbuilding used for?

When my aunt/uncle/mother were children, there were chickens and pigs. But that's it; basically just a shed. No official farm

My aunt just showed me a photo of her outside the house. There was a chicken coop where the garden is, an outhouse attached to the outbuilding. There was a hand dug well. The back of the house (at the time I lived there- i graduated high school 2009) was my bedroom. But before that, the back bedroom used to be the kitchen. We acquired the property in approx the 1950's and it was a total of 150 acres. Remodeling happened in the 70s. And then i saw a bill of sale, and moment of period where the property was sold and we bought it back for only 5 acres or so.
