My mother bought Esperenza in the 60's and did the original restoration. When she bought it, it had been vacant for more than 20 years and only had 2 undestroyed windows. When she first bought it you couldn't even see it from 54A because of all the tree saplings and brush. She ran as a art gallery and art show center.
