What a surprise to see my house! I have lived there for 36 years. My great, great grandfather, Bennett Fields, Jr. built it before the Civil War.

Hi, I'm curious as to how you found the picture of your house on the Vintage Aerial website. I found mine by looking through pages and pages of photographs. I'm wondering if that's how most people are locating their homes. Did you type in the address online?

My niece, who lives across the road, found it and my sister sent it to me. I’m not sure how she found it. I’m a hot air balloon pilot so I have pictures like this from a balloon but it was fun to see it posted here.

Thanks, for responding. Some people, who aren't used to an aerial perspective have difficulty interpreting aerial photos. So, I'm a bit curious about the method. You, of course, would be familiar with that perspective.
