The E.L. Barone farm in the NE corner of Rt 58 and County Rd 40, Sullivan. At that time it was County Rd 1. The Barones bought this former Garver farm in 1944. A small farm, the 27 acres were usually planted in corn and soy beans. The house was estimated to be built in the mid 1800s.
