The Woerner's lived here!

This was Woerner airport; the east end of the field is in the lower right corner. Looks like my dad's T-Craft next to the barn and maybe a Cub closer to the road. Barn is long gone.

The Woerners certainly did live here! I grew up here. I remember many hours MOWING that runway on a Ford tractor with a brush hog. The tractor's brakes didn't work, and I used to be a skinny little thing - I would have to stand and put all my weight on the clutch to slow down and stop!
