This farm is out what used to be route 2 . Turn up right after Poston Elementary School and go out about 5 miles. No turns off the dirt and gravel road. The house is on the right and barn , old garage, and shed on the left.

I grew up here. My dad had about 50 head of cattle and of course bailed all the hay and grain for them. We had a huge garden and horses to ride. There was a nice creek and swimming hole on the property. Many decades ago there was a log cabin on the barn side as well. My grandfather owned the farm and house, The Bennett farm is what it was called and Bennetts owned it before grandpa. Then his daughter married and she and her husband bought it. My dad who was the son of my grandpa and sister to the daughter and son in law who owned it. The house burned down and dad and mom rebuilt in the same place the house was. After their death it has changed hands many times. Was a good place to grow up and ride horsed and fish and swim etc.
