This photo is the front of BK Beverage (center) and Salineville Lanes Bowling Alley(right) and surrounding homes. BK (center) is currently operated and owned by Becky and Kevin Melhorn and was originally the Melhorn Dairy. It is in Columbiana County, Salineville Ohio. Located on 40-46 W.Main St. This building and area has changed dramatically from the date of photo. The Feldman House; to the left of it under the trees,was purchased by Melhorns and torn down. It was known to be the first house built in Salineville. It was not repairable and I do believe the Historical society didn't feel it worthy to save either. There is now a nice gas station to the right; the bowling ally was owned by several families Giannonie's, Melhorns,and Dangelo's(?) and Ludwig's at one time. Years ago it was a roller skating rink. Many great memories were here. BK Beverage has expanded their property on both sides creating a good business for the village.
