The driveway with the two bushes across the street is my Grandparents' house
The building on the left is Short Stop carry out. Still there today
The building in the middle is the old dairy Queen. Building is there but not currently used
On the right you see the old water tower. It has since been replaced
Notice all the trees and brush in the background. That is now where the Northridge apartments are located
I was there in 1969, going to Northridge Elementary School. This was a great place to go with friends and hang out. They had really good food and treats! I sat at those very picnic tables to the left, and even used the pay phone out front. It was the best times!
At one point it became "Family Stop Diner", once slated to be "Noble Tree Cafe", and now it's coffee shop Scout's Cafe
