This is the old Dairy Barn on State Route 256 in Pickerington. It was destroyed by fire on February 14, 1998. What a sad, sad day. It has since been replaced by a strip mall with a movie theater.

The farmhouse still stands across the street.

The barn was magnificent! It was built in the 30s or 40s when Klagis owned Hunters Run Farm. Klegis owned Columbus Auto Parts.
Klegis sold the farm and barn to Arthur Good who owned the Pickerington Creamery, noted for its Mayflower butter. The barn was always after called the Mayflower Barn.
Good sold the farm and barn to Wilby Arnold in the mid 1950s who farmed it until 1964. It was then purchased by Barry Zack's of RG Berry and Max and Erma's fame. It was then in use as a horse barn for quite a few years

It's now a large strip mall
