My grandfather owned the IGA store from early 70s to mid/late 80s. Grandma had the ice cream shop at the back of the store where that little awning is beside the big bay door. Funny, I remember that old truck sitting in the parking lot behind the store. Wildermuth's hardware was across Main Street. A woodworking shop was across Columbus street on the corner. The fire dept was behind the woodshop. Two houses behind the store is where my grandparents lived before they sold. The back of the house is barely seen.
We used to frequent your IGA for years, and yes, even the ice cream cones at the rear.I went to school in P_ville, played ball for the hometown reds as well...Live there until '76....
