This is the small farm (ten acres) that my Dad purchased through his VA benefit. My dad lost his arm along with some fingers on the other hand in WWII. He loved this place and so did all of the kids. We purchased it in 1960 when I was five years old. I remember all the work we did scrapping the old paper off the walls. My Dad was disabled but we always had a garden with potatoes, strawberries, tomatoes and corn. It was wonderful. I lived here from five to thirteen when they built the new house on six acres below the barn not showing in this picture but there is an Aerial view of the new house on here too. I consider this home more then the new house.
