Grew up in this small house - home of Clyde and Evelyn Mills. Built for his sister in the early 1950s, they moved in about 1956. They lived there for more than 40 years. The 1-acre property was part of the Deep Dale Farm originally owned by Clyde's grandfather Alfred and father Martin. The driveway to the right of the house is now Deep Dale Drive, across from Lais Road. The curved roof building at the top of the photo was originally a small barn, converted to apartments when the adjacent farm was sold (the former farm is the site of Midtown Manor and mobile home sales). The garage, trees and garden were removed after this house was sold in the 1990s as a commercial lot and covered with gravel. The property has since been used as a used car lot and outdoor building sales.
