This the O.E Barks farm at the corner of Barks Rd. and Rt 4 S. Marion, Ohio. Boarded my horses here in the early 70's!
The buildings have been gone for a long time now. It was a beautiful place.
Lived in Southland Apartments in the 1970Γ’Βs, Mr Barks was raising hogs back then. The spring piglets were adorable, and they had a giant boar that was so sweet and friendly. We used to lean over the fence and scratch his back with a stick. Things have changed so much, IΓ’Βm glad I experienced a Γ’Βrealfarm.
