I lived here for over 30 years! We made this one of the best thoroughbred racing and breeding farms in Ohio. We fenced in the entire 110 acres and built an all wood horse stables with over 125 stalls and an indoor arena. We created Harlan's Holiday. The favorite in the 2002 Kentucky Derby. He made over $3.7 million dollars. Since my stepdad died;the farm has been split and some buildings and fence have been torn down. There was also a fire that destroyed the main barn in 2009.

I forgot to mention most of those trees are gone too, except the two pine trees closest to the road.

Hi DeAnne! It's fascinating to hear about the changes over time. Do you happen to remember what the area was like back in 1975? Were there any specific landmarks or events that stood out to you?

Hi Alexis! We didn't live there in 1975, so I can't answer that. We moved in 1988. The house didn't have dormers when we moved in and the tree in back wasn't there.
