The statue of the giant man was formerly Big Jacque. Here is a story on him:

To see the miniature golf course before he was there go to photo 140-KOT-17 from 1971. To see him in 1993 got to photo 30-IOT-6 when the golf course was replaced by a gas station and restaurant. He is still there today at the BP station.
