I graduated from Monroe in 1961. I have fond memories of the school, classmates and some teachers . With such a small graduating class we were friends, some closer than others but I believe this is missing today with the larger schools with 400 or more in the class today.
I attended Monroe for many years, loved the school, classmates, and faculty. Use to pick violets for my teacher when a child in the back yard of playground! Can't believe I hung upside down on the monkey bars, dress and all! There is a good reason to wear pants to school these days. Ha! I was in class of 1963. My brother Don Shellabarger in 1961. Older brother Marion Shellabarger in the Flory twins class.Don and I moved to Greenville, Ohio and graduated there! Will never forget
