Former Garber estate - our family owned & farmed land from 1951. Garbers still owned white house, renting to Quicksaws & Kecklers. 1962 Garber sold house to Kunkles, so farm was complete. We moved in & remodeled house. Raised cattle & crops. In 1967-68, parents transformed farm into Clear Fork Mobile Home Park & Sales. Duane, Lenoria, Nancy & Donald Kunkle expanded park & operations of management, sales & maintenance. Between 87/88, parents sold park & continued agriculture on Bellville Ankenytown Rd. ( Now deceased)
Spent many days with the Kunkles. Nancy was my big sister. Walked through these fields to go swimming at Gatton Rocks. Great memories!
