I grew up here,it was bought by my father Steve Tomic in the mid fifties but it was built in 1910. It burned down around 2006. He built a new home later. The building on the left is a real log cabin built by the original owner, it was a two room motel.
If you stop by, James, can you confirm the location of the pin I placed on the map? In the 1950 directory this was owned by Lawrence Ault and the small building was a grocery.
It seems correct, somewhere we have the postcard of the log cabin motel, the white building
