My father John M. Browning bought this farm from Dewitt W. Balch And being a part of the same premises conveyed by Dewitt W . Balch , to Elbert Hogan, Jr., and Delma Hogan , By deed dated April 20th , 1950 and recorded in Deed Record Vol. 194,at Page 7,of the Deed Records of Warren County, Ohio .This tract being the Southwesterly part of the remises as conveyed by Zimri O. Worley to Dewitt W. Balch by deed dated Oct 1 , 1935 and recorded in vo.131 page 84 , of the Deed Records of Warren County, Ohio. I was born 12-10-1949. we moved to this property at the above date but my family could not live in the main domicile Because Zimri Worley had no where to move his herd of Jersey Milk cows or his family . There was a 2 room house which was the remnants of the existing farm house . After the flood of 1913 . Being located along the edge of the Little Miami river and Morrow Mill Grove Rd. which was located south of the Existing large brick farm house and the Little Miami River. The 1913 flood had washed Morrow Mill Grove road away in several places between State Rt. 123 to Gilmore Rd . The road was moved north to an area above the 100 year flood Plane running east and west at the toe of the slope as far as possible so the water would not hopefully cover Morrow Mill Grove Road ever again . I think it was in 1914 or earlier that the main house was taken down brick and hauled in horse drawn wagons northward across the field and reassembled on the spot where it is now located .
It has been added to two times and remodeled several times since 1913. . my son and Lori Kaiser moved in to the house about 18 months after my father passed away .Dl Browning the second spent about 18 months remodeling my dads home . Lori moved back to her fathers home near New Vienna , Ohio with D.L.'s son Logan Kaiser Browning about 1.5 years later . Dl has since married Jessica Witt they share a boy. Arman River Browning . He will be 5 years old in July of 2018 . Arman has a step brother that is 3 years older than he . Many things have changed on the farm since The farm was given to me by the John M. Browning Trust before his Demise. I still farm this property and started selling top soil located in the river bottom area in the spring of 2007 .we have been doing so ever since doing business as Riverside Stock Farm Topsoil We have since been able to acquire a Mining and reclamation permit from the State of Ohio Permit #-IM -2447 . in the name Of Daniel L Browning Riverside Sand And Gravel, LLC . There are now 3 generations of Brownings now living on this farm .4 counting my father and mother who are now deceased .
