This is the house my Dad built. It had 7 bedrooms and there were 14 of us kids - perfect! We moved in when I was starting 8th grade. Have very fond memories of all the great family times here. It was a great home, made with many lovingly built ins. My Dad was a Chemical Engineer by day and a superb carpenter that was unafraid to tackle anything at night.

This is my house too! We moved in when I was in the 4th grade. The basement had a large family room where we had many Christmas parties. And one end had school desks and a chalkboard where we played "school". Maybe that's why I became a teacher. The other half of the basement was dad's workshop and the boys had a darkroom for developing pictures. I see the above-the-ground pool in the picture. Many fun times in the pool.

I loved this house! Lynn and Jeff and I spent many fun nights with Chris, Tim and Ellen! I remember sleeping across the bed with our heads at the window. And the long breakfast table with about a dozen boxes of cereal!! I kinda remember the mortgage-burning party! :) But I don't remember all those trees in the front yard. The pines are just about to overgrow the driveway! I, too, see the pool but the picture doesn't show Grandpa's orchard!
