I lived in Fredericksburg then. This was before the buildings downtown got a face lift. It was a very dreary, depressing town. Now, it looks cute and quaint. I enjoy visiting and walking around.
The gas station used to have a coke machine and a pepsi machine outside. I bought a lot of Mt. Dews from that machine! The grocery store has changed a bit since then too. The hardware store across from the gas station has changed several times, the library was an antique store at one time. Few things have remained unchanged. The bank, the white church across from the hardware store...Those are pretty much the same.
