Franklin M Billman family lived here from 1960- 1975. He was the sexton of Altalaha Lutheran church that owned this property. He was also caretaker of cemeteries. Some cemetery can be seen here. Franklin and wife Alverta, children Margaret, Brian, Franklin Jr, Douglas, Steven, Jeffrey lived here. Alverta died 1967. Franklin remarried Arlene Bishop. She had daughter Faye from her first marriage. Franklin and Arlene had child Celia.
Last 30 plus years farm has been neglected. This year 2022 property was sold and is now up for sale again with completely remodeled home. For now the property canβt be farmed because overgrowth needs to be addressed. Butcher shop, corn crib are gone. Barn needs some attention. Barn is protected because of nesting owls.
