Keller Brothers, dealer for International tractors in the 70s. Don't know if that was true in 1963

Back in the 1950s, 1960s, and maybe the early 1970s, this was Jake Vargo's business. Jake had race cars that were at the tracks on Friday and Saterday nights. Sometimes I would go with Marvin Moyer who worked for Vargo's and his son Kerry to the track in Nazareth to watch them run.
Jake Jr. loved the drags, so they built Vargo Dragway on there other property on Elephant Road between Ridge Road and Sweetbriar Road.

This property is located at 2886 Ridge Road, Perkasie, PA. At the time of this photo it was owned by Jake Vargo. It was purchased in April 1973 and became Keller Brothers, a trucking business. In August 1979 it became the home of R. W. Keller Sales, which sold Massey Ferguson and Woods Machine tractors and D & R Leasing, a trucking business. It has been the home of many other businesses over the years.

The gas pumps out front and the tanks to the right are long gone, as are the bins behind the front building. The house and all of the buildings are still standing on the property, with some additions.

J.J. Vargo delivered fuel oil to our home in the 60's

I used to race a 1955 Chevy in the Powder Puff Derby at Vargo's back in the early 60's. And won several times. It was quite the place to be and exciting back in the day. Brings back memories of the good times.
