This mall is still there and mostly unchanged. The A&P became a movie theatre and now a medical facility. Behind Peoples was Joe, the Motorist Friend. Not sure what the other stores are now.

A&P stores closed in Central PA in approximately 1982 and 1983. Peoples Drug which was based in the Washington DC area became CVS in the mid to late 1980s if memory serves me correct on that one. I enjoy seeing these names from years gone by.
